Andrea Ashton
Andrea received her early training at the Corraine Collins Dance Studios and went on to complete four years at Laine Theatre Arts.
Following graduation from the College she completed a number of professional dance engagements before beginning her teaching career. She has over 25 years experience in teaching and choreographing. She has taught at CCDS since 1996 and has freelanced at other schools and colleges. She was on the tap faculty of Bird College for four years and successfully ran her own school in Gloucestershire for 10 years before starting a family.
Andrea is a Modern Theatre and Tap Dance Examiner for the ISTD, and is a Lecturer and Committee member for the Tap Dance Faculty.
As well as teaching at CCDS, she currently teaches at Morea Performing Arts and teaches ballet & movement in various nurseries.
