A small, but very important part of the ethos of CCDS, apart from producing fabulous performers, is the desire to inspire our young people to be charitable fundraisers of the future.

A good fundraiser is motivated and excellent at inspiring others to do the same, what excellent characteristics to develop in our young people?

Our youngsters are encouraged to develop relationships with other fundraisers and members of the public of varying age. We are always looking for new and inspired ways to raise money whilst having fun!

We are proud to boast that over the years we have raised in excess of £40,000.00 for a variety of charities.

The Wilderness Foundation, Elizabeth’s Footprint, Pancreatic Cancer Research UK, The Ataxia Society, Gloucestershire Air Ambulance, Winstone’s Wish, Gloucestershire Counselling Services, The National Star College, Sailing Farr, The Chamwell Centre, TIC+, Focus at Gloucestershire Hospitals, BEatedsupport and Many Tears Animal Rescue are some of the Charities that have benefited from our fundraising activities.

We are currently very busy raising funds ready for a presentation in December.

We raised £400.00 in a 2 hour period one snowy, cold December day in 2017.
