Children are accepted from the age of 2 and a half - 3 years. At this age ballet is taught through imaginative stories and rhymes. It is proven that children who take ballet at this age benefit greatly showing improved co-ordination, deportment, self-awareness and confidence.
When ready, pupils are given the option of tap and modern dance. These subjects allow children to learn a new range of steps and also improves rhythm and musicality. Tap and modern offer a freer style of dance expression.

A registration form must be completed. By doing so you are indicating that you agree to comply with the rules and regulations of the School.
Fees are strictly payable within 14 days of the beginning of each financial term. Payment in full may be made by cash or cheque.
Special arrangements can be made for fees to be paid by Direct Debit over a ten month period. We regret that we do not accept credit cards.

Ballet - Girls
Grades up to and including Grade VI - ISTD 2000 plum sleeveless leotard, pink ballet socks or tights, pink leather ballet shoes with elastic.
ISTD Majors Pre-intermediate & Intermediate - ISTD 2000 navy ruche sleeveless leotard, pink ballet tights, delcos, and pointe shoes.
ISTD Major Advanced 1 & 2 - Dancez black C133GLB leotard, pink ballet tights, delcos, and pointe shoes.
RAD Majors - "Alison" navy leotard, pink ballet tights, delcos, and pointe shoes. |
Modern & Tap - Girls
Grades up to and including Grade IV - Bloch burgundy L6432/L0432 leotard.
Modern - Bare feet or Danksin flesh stirrup tights.
Tap - Freed white socks, Capezio black patent tap shoes, or Freed "Oxfords" (Grade II or upwards).
Majors - Bloch burgundy U0440 unitard.
Modern - bare feet; Tap - Freed "Oxfords". |
Ballet, Modern & Tap - Boys
Freed white "Aaron" leotard, black cycling shorts.
Ballet - black leather ballet shoes with black elastic, freed white socks.
Modern - Bare feet; Tap - Black tap shoes, freed white socks. |
Hair should be worn neatly and preferably in a bun.
